Story
Welcome to The Homestead Cabin Company. Our company started out with just a pile of logs and a dream. A 200 year old log cabin was being torn down in our area and we just couldn't imagine those beautiful pieces of history going to waste. We didn't know if we would even have enough logs to reconstruct a home, but we started putting the pieces together. Little by little we figured out the puzzle and The Homesteader Cabin welcomed its first guest in 2022!

WHY DID WE NAME IT THE HOMESTEADER?
The place that we call home, and where the cabin was built, was homesteaded by my family over 200 years ago!
Get to Know Us
I was born and raised in The Hocking Hills on this land. My family and I reside in the 100+ year old farmhouse beside The Homesteader Cabin. I am the 4th generation, and my children were the 5th generation to live in this specific house on the property. We love this area and our land and just want to share this special place we call home with others.

Since building The Homesteader we have expanded. We have 2 more cabins on a separate piece of family land and The Homestead Cabin Company was formed!
